About the role

We are actively seeking a Japanese native speaking Leadership Trainer/Facilitator, proficient in English, to be a cornerstone of our consulting team. In this role, you will spearhead leadership training sessions, helping guide our clients through their business transformation journeys. Your unique combination of cultural depth, linguistic skills, and expertise in leadership development will ensure our clients achieve their full potential and navigate change successfully.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Leadership Training: Design and deliver tailored leadership training sessions for our clients in both Japanese and English, aligned with their specific business challenges and objectives.
  2. Facilitation of Workshops: Lead workshops focused on leadership development, change management, and other transformation-related topics.
  3. Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Foster collaboration across multilingual teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of objectives.
  4. Continuous Development: Stay updated with the latest leadership theories and practices, ensuring the content and methodologies you deliver are current and impactful.
  5. Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, understanding their needs, challenges, and expectations.
  6. Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback post-training and workshops, and continuously refine the programs to ensure their effectiveness and relevance.
  7. Collaborative Design: Work closely with our in-house team of consultants and experts to design leadership programs that integrate seamlessly with broader business transformation strategies.

What we expect from you

  1. Native Fluency in Japanese: It is vital for you to have an innate cultural understanding and impeccable linguistic proficiency in Japanese to ensure our clientele are thoroughly supported.
  2. Working Knowledge of English: Your ability to interact with our in-house development team in English is essential given the multinational nature of many of our clients.
  3. Proven Experience: At least 5 years in leadership training, facilitation, or a related field, preferably within a consultancy or corporate training environment.
  4. Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field. Certifications in training or leadership development are a strong plus.
  5. Strong Facilitation Skills: Expertise in conducting effective workshops and training sessions, driving engagement, and ensuring tangible learning outcomes.
  6. Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, listening, and relationship-building abilities. You should be able to connect with participants from various backgrounds and seniority levels.
  7. Adaptability: The agility to adjust training techniques based on audience feedback, evolving client needs, and changing business landscapes.
  8. Cultural Sensitivity: A deep comprehension of both Japanese and Western business cultures, allowing you to bridge gaps and create a unified learning environment.
