Japanese Native Speaking Project Management Trainer with Working Knowledge of English


About the role:

We are seeking a Japanese native speaking Project Management Trainer, proficient in English, to be an integral part of our consulting team. Your role will encompass the development and delivery of specialized project management training programs aimed at aiding our clients during their business transformation initiatives. Combining your deep cultural insights, extensive project management experience, and ability to craft tailored training, you’ll offer programs that inspire and guide our clients towards successful project outcomes.


Main Responsibilities:

  1. Training Program Development: Design, develop, and fine-tune comprehensive project management training modules in both Japanese and English, tailored to the industry’s best practices and our client’s specific needs.
  2. Training Delivery: Lead engaging and interactive project management training sessions, workshops, and seminars for various client teams.
  3. Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to identify their distinct project management training requirements, challenges, and goals.
  4. Cross-Cultural Integration: Use your bilingual skills to ensure training materials and delivery methods cater seamlessly to multilingual audiences.
  5. Continuous Enhancement: Regularly solicit feedback on training effectiveness and iterate on content and methodologies for constant improvement.
  6. Stay Updated: Remain updated with the latest trends, methodologies, tools, and best practices in project management to ensure relevancy and effectiveness in training.
  7. Team Collaboration: Partner closely with other trainers, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive development and delivery of training programs.
  8. Resource Creation: Develop comprehensive training manuals, online modules, and other educational tools to bolster the training initiatives.

What we expect from you:

  1. Native Fluency in Japanese: A thorough understanding and fluency in Japanese is crucial for ensuring that our training programs deeply resonate with our Japanese clientele.
  2. Working Knowledge of English: Proficiency in designing, communicating, and collaborating in English is essential, given our diverse clientele and international team.
  3. Significant Experience: A minimum of 10 years as a project manager, with at least 5 years in project management training, showcasing your ability to develop and deliver successful training initiatives.
  4. Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field. Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly advantageous.
  5. Technical Skills: Familiarity with contemporary training design platforms, tools, and project management software solutions.
  6. Analytical Thinking: The capability to gauge training needs, interpret feedback, and devise tailored solutions based on insights.
  7. Adaptability: Flexibility to tailor training content and methodologies based on evolving client requirements and the ever-changing business landscape.
  8. Cultural Sensitivity: A nuanced understanding of both Japanese and Western business environments, enabling you to cater to a broad audience efficiently.
